New Go-Kart Track and Mini Golf Course Means More Fun Times Ahead at Fun Time Adventures

Fun times are waiting at Fun Time Adventures with a new go-kart track, mini golf course, and outdoor maze! Fun Time Adventures received financing from the REED Fund in partnership with West Central Electric Cooperative for the expansion.

Fun Time Rentals recently moved to its new location at 910 Bass Drive in Fort Pierre, SD with the addition of a second business, Fun Time Adventures. Financing for the expansion will be used to purchase an existing go-kart track and a mini golf course, which had been previously offered by 1806 Wheels & Sticks Family Fun Park in that same location. Funding will also go toward added lanes for ax throwing and the construction of an outdoor maze. Fun Time Adventures is Thriving in its South Dakota Location

As South Dakota natives, Diedrich and his wife Julia are looking forward to providing more amusement for both children and adults in the area. The Fun Times Adventures mission is to provide exciting experiences for people of all ages by creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere that encourages everyone to let loose and make memories.

“Fun Time Adventures will be open year round for ax throwing, offering leagues throughout the year,” said Derek Diedrich. “The company also has dart boards and hosts dart leagues in the area.”

Fun Time Rentals currently rents out campers, trailers, kayaks, paddle boards, wave runners, pontoon boats, cars, and ATVs, along with many party items. Fun Time Adventures shares the same building and the facilities can be rented out for parties and special events.

“We are able to offer a place for private events such as birthday parties, Christmas parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties, or just a fun night out for anyone,” Diedrich continued. “Fun Time Adventures was also able to get an on/off sale malt beverage license to add to the current snack bar.”

The Diedrichs are also looking to hire new employees. The company is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and hours may vary depending on the season.
