SVE Solar Project To be Constructed near Brandon Service Center

Last month in my column, I mentioned a solar array project that will be built in Brandon this spring. This is being constructed as a demonstration for the Sioux Valley Energy membership. Many of our members look for ways to offset their electric use with distributed generation from small renewable sources. They look to us for advice and guidance when it comes to selecting the technology, doing a costbenefit analysis and even advice on installation. This is why the board of directors approved the construction of a small solar project in Brandon.
