Fire Hall Rebuilt

13 Feb 2017

Tornadoes can’t stop us in South Dakota. At least that’s what the Delmont Fire District said when a May 2015 tornado ripped through town and demolished the local fire hall. The hall holds town events like the annual sausage supper and fall festivals. (Read more here http://ow.ly/UMhB303HHvG)

The problem is that building a fire halltakes resources like the interest-free loan provided through Douglas Electric Cooperative (http://ow.ly/A3Rl303HHh1) and REED. Douglas has over 600 members in Douglas County and provides services to more than 800. Funding projects like the fire hall is just one way that electric cooperatives make our communities better every day.
